Accounting Associate

At Wave, we help small businesses to thrive. The Accounting Associate is responsible for managing a portfolio of small businesses whose bookkeeping they own, acting as the trusted advisor and accounting department for Wave’s small business clients.

Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• 0-2 years of general work experience.
• Previous experience in cloud accounting.
• Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Stellar communication skills with the ability to convey accounting concepts in lay terms.
• Attention to detail is critical in this role.
• Resourcefulness.
• Previous working experience with small businesses is a plus.
