Job Description
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Mapping team at Waymo. The team's goal is to build a high-resolution map of the world to support safe autonomous driving. The successful candidate will build backend infrastructure, apply machine learning technology, and scale our systems to support mapping the whole world.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years Machine Learning experience (preferably in Mapping)
- Hands-on machine learning experience - ideally on image recognition problems.
- Willingness to own problems end-to-end and work on various parts of the system
- A passion for good software engineering
