Senior Product Manager, Planner

Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. The Waymo Product Management Team is responsible for bringing fully autonomous driving technology to market, and we are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Planner to develop a roadmap and determine product requirements for planner.

Requirements

• Develop a road-map and determine product requirements for planner, leveraging product insight and drive alignment across the company
• Work on Planner, AI/ML technologies that enable Waymo’s Driver to scale in domestic and international markets, and across many hardware platforms
• Work with other PMs and cross functional teams to identify the long term product focus areas, and steer technology and engineering efforts to address them
• Thoroughly investigate data from real-world miles collected by our fleet, define requirements and guide the team to make the right trade-offs between capability, engineering complexity and other factors
• Align and work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Operations, System Engineering, and other Waymo teams to bring to market products that save lives and transform transportation
