Job Description
Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company seeking a Software Engineer, Data & Evaluation to build a high resolution map of the world to support safe autonomous driving. The ideal candidate will evaluate and launch machine learning models, work with onboard teams to evolve Waymo’s mapping format, apply statistical analysis, and build backend infrastructure.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Experience with statistical analysis
- Experience with large-scale data processing using frameworks like Google Data Flow or Apache Beam
- Willingness to own problems end-to-end and work on various parts of the system
- A passion for good software engineering
