Systems Engineer, Networks

We are seeking a Systems Engineer, Networks to create and own comprehensive requirements for cybersecurity and network communications for the Waymo vehicle. The role involves working with OEMs and Functional Systems Engineers to define and implement the network architecture, and developing Verification and Validation (V&V) plans to ensure platform security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in a technical role such as systems engineering or network architecture
• Deep technical expertise in vehicle communication networks and protocols
• A thorough understanding of vehicle communications and module security technology
