Fire Alarm Technician

Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers Inc. is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician for their Jacksonville, FL branch. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in installing fire alarm systems and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of knowledge and hands-on experience in installing fire alarm systems, reading blueprints, and conducting system testing.
• NICET certification, OSHA 30-hour course, and lift certification (preferred)
• Proficient in using computer software, including company-specific programs.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience supervising apprentices.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage with others professionally and collaboratively.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to wear required protective equipment and adhere to safety guidelines on job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test, background check, and 10-year employment verification.
