Job Description
Complex Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift performs preventative, maintenance, and repairs of large manufacturing equipment. The role involves identifying root cause of unexpected breakdowns, repairing machines, and preparing reports. The Maintenance Mechanic also coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance, makes necessary modifications, and implements tests runs.
Requirements
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
- Identify root cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines
- Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts
- Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintains shop areas
- Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance
- Collaborate with department heads regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required
- Identify opportunities for improvement, present to appropriate leader, and implement, lead or participate in solution implementation
