Job Description
Wayside is hiring a Youth & Family Support Worker to provide culturally informed therapeutic interventions to children, young adults, and their families. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, and at least 1 year of direct experience working with children, young adults, and/or families.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 1 year of direct experience working with children, young adults, and/or families
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong communication skills –both written and verbal
- Ability to assess and manage risk
- Flexibility and creative thinking with an ability to adapt
