Job Description
The Senior Valuation Officer plays a key role in overseeing and supporting the valuation framework for UCITS and AIF structures managed or supervised by Waystone. This role contributes to the commercial enablement of the Waystone service by supporting client engagement, model design, and the articulation of Waystone’s valuation capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- University Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Mathematics
- 7+ years experience in valuation within the asset management industry
- Strong understanding of valuation principles, methodologies, and techniques for a wide range of asset classes
- Strong knowledge of quantitative finance, risk management methods and financial instruments
- Profound knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to valuation of AIFMDs and UCITS
- Professional certification preferred, CFA, FRM CAIA, CFI certifications or any valuation certificate
- Good analytical, organizational, writing and communication skills
- Able to work both independently. Recognized team player
- Fluent in English; any other language will be considered as an asset
