Instructional Assistant - Special Education, ECS

The Instructional Assistant - Special Education position provides support and assistance to teachers in coordinating instructional programs for special education students. The role involves ensuring an encouraging, caring, safe, and healthful environment for all students, assisting with strategies related to behavioral intervention plans, and providing in-class support to promote progress towards independence and self-determination.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and an Associate's degree in a related field or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• Ability to work in a team environment and effectively collaborate with others
• Ability to protect the confidentiality of personally identifiable information
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form
