Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent with strong tax preparation and client service experience to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns, providing tax planning guidance, and maintaining compliance with federal and state tax laws.
Requirements
- Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license required
- Minimum 3 years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting or tax firm environment
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and tax software (e.g., ATX, Lacerte, Drake, or UltraTax)
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, forms, and filing requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet filing deadlines
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on tax law changes
