Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and processes to support the site's business goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot control circuits
• Install electric motors
• Basic VFD programming
• Maintains open communication with Supervisors, Maintenance Personnel and Plant Manager
• Provides support to other maintenance technicians on all shifts
• Works within scheduling requirements
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
• Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and adjusts
• Tracks spare parts usage
• Performs preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
• Detects faulty operations and defective material and reports any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Familiar with manufacturing, safety practices, and procedures
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Detail oriented
