Job Description
Weave is seeking a foundational Senior Performance Engineer to establish and lead their performance engineering practice. The role involves scaling Truelark (the acquired platform) to handle massive customer influx and identifying bottlenecks within the distributed microservices architecture. This is a high-stakes challenge requiring deep expertise in performance, reliability, and system-level issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Performance Engineering, Software Engineer in Test, SRE, DevOps, or Software Engineer with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Strong software development fundamentals and hands-on experience building, testing, and maintaining complex applications.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and workflows.
- Expert-level understanding of performance testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
