Associate, Crisis Communications

Weber Shandwick is seeking an Associate in Crisis Communications to join its Global Crisis and Issues Practice in New York. The role involves supporting complex, high-profile corporate issues and crisis communications situations, developing press releases, crisis plans, and media strategies, and providing research and analysis to clients.

Requirements

• Strong writing skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong understanding of social analytics
• Full analytical fluency in all social/digital platforms
• Crisis communications, issues management, and/or public affairs experience
• Sharp curiosity and an analytical mind
• Ability to provide strategic and actionable recommendations based on research
