The Dental Patient and Insurance Coordinator plays a vital role as a key point of contact between patients, providers, and insurance companies. This administrative position is to support a team of dental professionals and work cohesively alongside them.
Requirements
- Greet and assist patients in person, by phone, and electronically
- Schedule dental appointments, procedures, and follow-ups
- Review treatment plans with patients and explain insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs
- Collect and verify patient demographic and dental insurance information
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA
