Instrumentation Tube Fitters needed for Project Ceres in Karratha, Australia. Long-term project opportunities available. Must have experience as an Instrumentation Tube Fitter in oil & gas or construction projects. Trade certification or vocational training preferred.
Requirements
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and layout sketches to plan tubing installations
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit tubing to specified dimensions using hand and power tools
- Assemble and install tubing systems, fittings, valves, supports, and related components
- Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing on completed systems
- Ensure joints and connections are made according to engineering standards and safety codes
- Verify material specifications and ensure all fittings and tubing are free from damage and contamination
- Work collaboratively with welders, pipefitters, and instrument technicians to integrate tubing with other mechanical systems
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress to supervisors
