Job Description
Weee! is hiring a Regional Buyer II, Produce to join their team in Hodgkins, IL. The role involves planning and purchasing produce items based on sales history and forecasts to satisfy customer demand in the Chicago region. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in grocery category management, at least 1+ year in produce, and a passion for produce and eagerness to learn more about the industry.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in grocery category management, at least 1+ year in produce
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with vendors
- Working knowledge of relational databases, and ERP systems
- BS/BA in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field (nice to have)
- Food Safety Certification (nice to have)
