Job Description
WelbeHealth PACE helps seniors stay in their homes and communities by providing comprehensive medical care and community-based services. The Home Care Assistant provides aid to participants in their homes and contributes to the care planning process as a member of the interdisciplinary team. The role is full-time with a stable schedule, and includes reimbursement for travel time and mileage.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Must be registered with Home Care Registry prior to start date
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter
