Job Description
At WELLSTAR, we are committed to reshaping Canadian healthcare by leveraging technology to address the administrative burdens that pull physicians away from their true calling—patient care. We are looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to join our Client Success team at DoctorCare, supporting physicians by delivering outstanding service, including submission and reconciliation of billing claims, and resolving billing rejections received back from the ministry.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in medical billing or a related field
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system
- Previous experience in customer service and support
- Strong data entry skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce
- Ability to quickly absorb new information and apply knowledge to unfamiliar situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Honest and dependable, with a high standard of professionalism
