Clinical Pharmacist - Practice Based role providing dedicated, practice-based clinical pharmacy support within general practice environments. Works as an integral member of the primary care team to provide clinical guidance, assistance and support around medications, with a focus on reducing inequities and working with priority populations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (NZ), or equivalent.
- Post-graduate Clinical Pharmacy qualification.
- Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand holding a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with no restrictions.
- At least 5 yearsâ post-registration experience.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical services.
- Ability to identify trends in individual patient data, including appropriate application of equity focused approaches to guide best practice prescribing.
- Awareness and understanding of the implications of the Treaty of Waitangi to WellSouth as a public health organisation.
- Effective interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Current Driverâs Licence.
