Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, and assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable Dental instrumentation and equipment. Assures dental operatories are adequately cleaned, disinfected and ready for patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Dental Assistant training program with a Dental Assisting Certificate preferred
- Current CPR and first aid certificates or the willingness to be trained within the first ninety (90) days of employment
- Commitment to HIPAA and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality
