THRIVE Psych. FNP/PA

THRIVE Psychiatric Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (FNP/PA) provides direct patient care in the THRIVE Program, manages patient assessments, and performs various medical procedures. The position requires a commitment to community health philosophy, excellent communication skills, and adherence to infection control procedures.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of California.
• Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioner must have Board Certification.
• Must have certification in psychiatric care, completion of residency in psychiatric care or 2-3 experience providing psychiatric care in a medical setting.
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration Registration.
• Current BLS certifications.
• Commitment to a community health philosophy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with individuals from a wide variety of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and sensitivity to their health problems.
