Job Description
The Disaster Response Technician will provide support to the response and recovery efforts of the Hospital Emergency Management Department and Disaster Response Team. The role will assist with disaster preparedness and response initiatives, maintain certification and competency, and provide outstanding service to customers.
Requirements
- Responds to decontamination alerts and disaster alerts
- Assists with stores and maintenance of decon room, truck and trailer
- Attends monthly DRT meetings and DRT training
- Participates in drills and exercises as scheduled
- Maintains certification and competency: HazMat Operations and Incident Command course
