Job Description
The Interventional Radiologic Technologist performs Interventional Radiography procedures under the direction of a radiologist. Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, following radiation protection techniques, and ensuring accurate image documentation.
Requirements
- ARRT and ISCD certification
- Min. continuing education credits
- Venipuncture competency
- Proper sterile technique
- Proper technique for catheters/guidewire exchanges
- Proper technique for power injector operation
