Paramedic - West - PRN

Responds to EMS calls and performs various functions related to patient care and treatment in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Prepares patients for procedures, administers I.V. fluids, and provides health care instruction. Demonstrates knowledge of patient growth and development, assesses patient data, and provides age-specific treatment.

Requirements

• Responds to EMS calls and observes safety policies
• Prepares, hangs, monitors, and administers I.V. fluids
• Provides health care instruction/education to patient and family members
• Prepares patients for scheduled procedures and assists in patient assessment
• Maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department
