Job Description
The Registered Nurse - Medical ICU - Nights position is a full-time job that requires a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to critically ill medical patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The nurse will act as a primary nurse for patients on the unit, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and develop outcome-driven plans. Responsibilities include providing and coordinating direct care, safely administering prescribed treatments and medications, and identifying changes in patients' status and acting accordingly.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the State of Pennsylvania
- BLS certification
- Current certification may be required for areas of nursing practice (e.g. ACLS, PALS, NRP)
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends
