Assertive Community Treatment Peer Support Specialist - Adult Mental Health

Wellspring is seeking an Assertive Community Treatment Peer Support Specialist to provide supportive counseling and crisis intervention to clients experiencing serious mental illness and other co-occurring behavioral health disorders. The Peer Specialist will identify as a mental health consumer and share their personal experience of mental health recovery with clients. The ideal candidate will have experience providing peer support services and hold an Adult Peer Support Certification.

Requirements

• Peer Specialist will identify as a mental health consumer
• Peer Specialist will have a belief in recovery from mental illness
• Peer Specialist will have experience providing peer support services to clients experiencing serious mental illness
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required
• High school degree or equivalent is required
• Already hold an Adult Peer Support Certification and be certified by the Commonwealth of Kentucky
