Senior Android Engineer (Yoga Go) - relocation to Cyprus

Welltech is a global company with Ukrainian roots, seeking a Senior Android Engineer to support the development and enhancement of the Yoga-Go application. The role involves technical ownership of the codebase, leading design and development of high-quality mobile solutions, and driving end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Kotlin, including fundamentals like coroutines, networking, persistence, and performance optimization
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modular, scalable UI architectures
• Excellent understanding of architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, DI) and modular codebases
• Ability to manage risks, trade-offs and propose efficient solutions
• Experience with design for testability, automated tests and willingness to work in an environment where engineers own the quality end-to-end
• Strong ability to design for reliability, scalability, and performance
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g., Bitrise, Fastlane, Gradle, custom scripts)
• Strong advocate of design for testability, automated testing, and shift-left quality mindset
• Product-minded approach with a bias for pragmatic, maintainable solutions
