Vehicle Operations Specialist (Contract)

Role Overview

WeRide is a smart mobility start-up that aims to transform mobility with autonomous driving. The Vehicle Operations Specialist will be part of an elite team of entrepreneurs and technologists who share a passion for continuous excellence.

What You Will Do

Operate test vehicles for up to 8 hours a day to evaluate and improve the autonomous driving system, provide detailed feedback to engineers and managers, and demonstrate work flexibility in a startup environment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience as an AV Safety Officer, a strong focus on safety, excellent communication skills, and a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as an AV (Autonomous Vehicle) Safety Officer
• Strong focus on safety first
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
• Valid U.S. driver's license and a clean driving record
• Commitment to significant time overseas (>25% in mid east and Europe) training new safety drivers
