Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications to perform advanced patient imaging procedures. This role provides critical imaging data to physicians for diagnostic interpretation and ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Completion of a formal education program in nuclear medicine technology
- Registration in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Certification and Registration in one of the following: R.T.(N)(ARRT), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- State license or Temporary Permit as required in the state of employment
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
