Job Description
The Sleep Technologist is a multi-skilled individual providing comprehensive sleep evaluation under the general supervision of a Sleep Center Director. This role involves sleep apnea testing, diagnosis/therapy, patient education, and data analysis. The role requires adherence to established protocols and provides opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding sleep center.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.
- Successful completion of a sleep technology program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience.
- Certification by a nationally recognized certification board and hold the Certified Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist (CPSGT), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including PC Windows and MS Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable schedules.
