Job Description
Manager, Risk & Insurance role at West Pharmaceutical Services. The role involves supporting West commercial insurance strategies worldwide, identifying potential loss exposures, and analyzing risk finance techniques. The position requires a strong working relationship with internal and external clients and maintaining a working knowledge of the global property/casualty insurance marketplace.
Requirements
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external clients
- Support property/casualty insurance negotiations and provide ongoing oversight and support for financial and claims administration duties
- Coordinate internal engineering recommendations and construction updates through WPS' commercial property program
- Monitor compliance with carrier underwriting requirements and coordinate resources and preliminary responses for approval
- Assist with claims management and reporting
- Review loss runs and identify costs/benefits of insurable v. retained risks
- Process internal invoice requisitions and billing documents for supervisory approval
- Generate property & casualty certificates of insurance requests upon request
- Work closely with Director, Global Risk and Insurance to build a professional development plan for technical proficiency
- Successfully complete continuing education assignments as assigned
