Job Description
The Director of Nursing - Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living will oversee the nursing department, developing and maintaining nursing-service objectives, standards of nursing practice, and nursing policy and procedure manuals. They will also participate in planning, budgeting, and implementing resident-care policies, and ensure that nursing personnel provide high-quality care to residents.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license in the state as a registered nurse
- At least two full years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Working knowledge of nursing services, rehabilitation, therapy, administration, supervision, resident care, etc.
