PTI/Adjunct Instructor for Basic Public Speaking

The Communication department is seeking applications for Adjunct Instructors for Basic Public Speaking. This course introduces students to the application of communication theory and practice to public speaking, with emphasis on audience analysis, speaker delivery, ethics of communication, and speech organizational techniques to develop students’ speaking abilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Communication or a related field and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in speech, Oral Communications
• Experience teaching public speaking
• Demonstrated evidence of professional growth through participation in continuing education and other related activities
• Proficiency with teaching technologies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
