Broadcast Technician - Relocation to Huntsville, ON

As Canada's second-largest commercial radio broadcaster, Vista Radio Ltd operates over 70 radio stations and digital news portals across three provinces and the Northwest Territories. Reporting to the Director of Technical Operations, the Broadcast Technician is responsible for maintaining Vista Radio's cluster of stations across our Ontario markets, ensuring reliable broadcast operations and supporting all technical processes related to transmission, studio systems, and content delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of recent and direct radio engineering experience in a Broadcast Technician role
• Graduate of an electronics technician or technologist program preferred
• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and safety-conscious
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize effectively in response to changing needs or critical off-air emergencies
• Demonstrated interest in staying current with industry trends and technical standards
• Positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset

• Ability and willingness to work in all climates
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
