Western Aircraft is looking for diligent and detail-oriented Aircraft Structures Technicians to join our dynamic team! Aircraft Structures Technicians are responsible for inspecting and conducting structural repairs and modifications per blueprint specifications while utilizing hand tools and test equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.
Requirements
- Performs a variety of aircraft structural repairs and modifications
- Use specialized equipment and tools to measure parts for defects or deviation from specifications
- Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of maintenance work
- Completes duties within allotted hours quoted for assigned tasks
- Ensures proper and complete documentation of maintenance, repair, and modification work performed
- Understands and follows safety procedures and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner
- Follows strict dimension tolerances in compliance with FAA, FAR, based on supplied approved data.
