Western Digital is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Senior Import & Export Officer to join their team in Shenzhen, China. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of international import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and optimizing global supply chain.
Requirements
- Manage end-to-end import and export documentation
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers
- Analyze and optimize shipping routes, carriers, and logistics costs
- Monitor and track shipments throughout the supply chain
- Resolve customs issues, delays, and discrepancies
- Negotiate terms with vendors, carriers, and service providers
- Analyze trade data and generate reports on import/export performance and trends
- Train and mentor junior staff on import/export procedures and best practices
