Med/Surg RN (Days, Weekend Option)

The staff Registered Nurse is a professional nurse responsible for directing and/or performing nursing care to assigned patients. This RN must effectively prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care while assisting the Medical Center's mission and vision. The role requires strong customer service skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Demonstrate positive customer service relations.
• Implement patient care according to planned interventions.
• Participate in Quality Improvement projects.
• Assist co-workers as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
• Must be able to sit and stand, intermittent 12 hours a day.
• Must be able to use standard office equipment, including the telephone and computer keyboard.
• Currently licensed to practice as a professional registered nurse in the state of Missouri or be eligible to practice as a graduate nurse in the State of Missouri.
• Must be able to use standard office equipment, including the telephone and computer keyboard.
• Continuously utilizes manual/bi-manual dexterity, near vision, speech, and hearing.
• Frequently stands, walks, sits and utilizes eye/hand coordination and color definition.
