Job Description
Instructor, Automotive Technology position available at Western Nevada College. The successful candidate will teach automotive technology courses, develop curriculum, and engage with students, faculty, and external partners.
Requirements
- Teach 30 equated load hours/year
- Develop and grade exams and projects
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate attendance rosters
- Deliver courses at all program levels, including face-to-face and online
- Maintain a minimum of 5 office hours/week/semester
- Participate in division meetings, advisory board meetings, and gatherings supporting faculty/industry collaborations
- Support learning through student engagement and incorporation of pedagogical strategies
- Advocate for curricular and programmatic changes based on data and industry feedback
