Mold Technician - Plastic Injection Molding

Role Overview

We are seeking a Mold Technician to join our team at our Wakefield, Michigan location. As a Mold Technician, you will be responsible for training, coaching, and mentoring new team members, as well as performing daily turnovers, material handling, and mold interface hookups. You will also be responsible for maintaining the system for tagging/cleaning/storage of all molds, maintaining molding support equipment, and conducting housekeeping as required.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include operating molding machines and all support equipment, performing thorough quality checks, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting machine/process problems and correcting them in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Prior mold technician experience required
• Must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and experience
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience leading a team and training new employees

• Salary: $19- $24.00/hour (Based on education and experience) + $1.50 3rd shift differential
