Job Description
The Westfield Area YMCA is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join their growing Aquatics team. This role involves conducting classes, ensuring safety, gathering feedback, and maintaining positive participant relationships. Flexible schedules are available.
Requirements
- Must 16 years of age or older
- Must possess YMCA Swim Instructor Certification along with BLS, First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications or equivalent
- Must possess the capabilities and maturity to handle the responsibilities involved in maintaining a safe pool
- Ability to create and maintain positive relations with members, participants and staff
- Excellent communication skills
