Job Description
Westinghouse is seeking a motivated AP1000 Manufacturing Supplier Performance Engineer to join their team in Japan, focusing on the manufacturing readiness and supplier capability assessments for critical mechanical components. The role involves oversight of supplier activities, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with quality requirements. It is a hybrid position reporting to a Supplier Performance Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline
- Experience with manufacturing of large size steel components (low volume / dedicated specification)
- Highly regulated industry experience (e.g., nuclear/aerospace)
- Project management skills
- Leading complex supplier engagements
- Nondestructive testing (PT/UT/MT/RT) awareness
- Experience with manufacturing of pressure vessels
