Category Specialist - Professional Services

The Category Specialist is responsible for supporting the Global Category Manager(s) for Indirect Sourcing / Category Management in Professional Services categories. The role involves managing spend, negotiating with suppliers, and delivering excellence in procurement activities.

Requirements

• Collaborate with Global Category Manager(s) and internal partners
• Negotiate and report cost savings and rebates
• Monitor and report on expiring Contracts
• Initiate and support RFP/RFQ bids and analysis
• Conduct negotiations, including Master Service Agreements
• Manage spend through market and competitive analysis
• Plan, align, and engage with team to deliver results and savings
• Perform supplier relationship management
• Support reconciliation activities relating to supplier accounts
• Plan and participate in quarterly business reviews with preferred suppliers and Category Manager(s)
• Continuously seek out opportunities to further improve bottom-line company performance
• Maintain awareness of applicable export control regulations
