Job Description
We are seeking a Controls Engineer - PLC/SCADA to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems for renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 15 years of experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems
- Proficiency in programming using function blocks, structured text, and ladder logic
- Experience with protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, etc.)
- Experience with Schneider M340 or M580 PLCs
- Experience with Ignition HMI platform
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems, solar PV and battery storage
- Understanding of electrical power systems and instrumentation
- Experience with project lifecycle from design through commissioning
- Familiarity with industry best practices for control systems
