Decontamination Technician

As a Decontamination Technician, you will perform housekeeping / decontamination activities in all Radiological Control Areas. You will operate various test equipment and machines as needed to perform duties such as high-pressure washers, laundry machines, RP meters, etc.

Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work at multiple heights
• Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to complete training / certification to operate different equipment
• Understand oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear plant.
• May require a respirator physical and training
• Work in adverse conditions such as high temperatures, confined spaces.
