EHS Expert

As a EHS Expert, you will ensure occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance at our Mannheim site and across selected projects, supporting safe operations, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement in line with international standards.

Requirements

• Performing the duties of an Occupational Safety Specialist
• Advising management, executives, and employees on all matters relating to occupational safety, environmental protection, and health protection
• Supporting the monitoring of occupational health, safety, and environmental protection measures, as well as compliance with applicable regulations, rules, and requirements
• Contributing to the creation of management system documentation in accordance with ISO 45001, risk assessments, operating instructions, training materials, and conducting EHS training for WEG employees
• Inspecting workplaces in Mannheim and project sites at external facilities (particularly in our decommissioning projects), including the necessary documentation
• Acting as a competent point of contact for our customers and supervisory authorities (BG ETEM)
• Organizing and chairing ASA meetings, including preparation of minutes
