Electrical Engineer II will use intermediate knowledge to provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects. They will report to the Manager of Large Project Electrical Systems and Equipment for Electrical Engineering.
Requirements
- Engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
- Evaluate standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria to develop engineering design documents including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications
- Use Software Packages like ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or equivalent and learning new packages quickly
- Interface w/ internal groups on similar engineering to obtain information to complete assignments
- Plan and schedule work to meet requirements
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Engineering design and analysis including electrical system design like development of load flow studies, short circuit analysis, development of protective relay settings, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
- Power Plant systems and equipment
- Power or nuclear projects
- ETAP, Maximo, or equivalent
- Procurement specifications and reviewing proposals
- Develop engineering design documents like technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications to support operating plants
