As a Westinghouse Nuclear Instrumentation and Control Engineer, you will be part of a high performing team assisting on a variety of projects to help new or existing nuclear power plants implement world class nuclear instrumentation signal processing and control systems.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or degree with relevant industry experience
- 0+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter
- Strong technical interest, including a desire and willingness to learn
- Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles
- Ability to work within a team and coordinate external support, as needed, to successfully complete project scope
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) analyses basis, summary of results, proposed solutions, and implementation instructions to customers and team members
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design desired
- Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry is a plus
- Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.) is preferred
- Previous knowledge of overall design and operation of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and systems is preferred but not required
- Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, cabinet drawings and panel layouts is a plus
