Job Description
We are seeking a Safety Software I&C Engineer II to join our Safety System Software team within Global Instrumentation and Control. As a hybrid employee in Warrendale, PA, you will develop software applications for Nuclear Safety Instrumentation and Control systems using the Westinghouse Common Q Platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, especially in a highly regulated field.
- Knowledge of distributed I&C architectures.
- Experience with any of the following: PLC function block programming, C/C++, SQL/Access, Git/Subversion or similar software configuration management tool, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD solution, IBM DOORs or similar requirements management tool.
- Familiarity with the software waterfall development model
