Senior Mechanical Engineer

Westinghouse is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Kitchener, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials for complex electro-mechanical first-of-a-kind tooling. They will work closely with the Robotic Tooling Design Manager and be located at the Kitchener office, with a hybrid work arrangement of 2 days per week on-site.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited Canadian institution
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in conceptual design development, design reviews, and engineering change control processes
• Experience in the design/building of custom equipment typically: robotics, electro-mechanical systems
• Experience working within 3D CAD systems
• Experience with manufacturing techniques, welding procedures or specifications and associated inspection techniques
• Comfortable leading meetings and giving presentations
• Experience working in a team environment
